Together we'll break down the process step by step, ensuring that you feel confident and skilled with every stroke of your brush.
​Knowing how to do a quick and good looking beat on yourself is a skill we all need for everyday life, social events and social media! Of course, you can always hire an mua for your special occasions and in times of self care, but knowing how to do your own makeup allows you to feel that same confidence on a daily basis (especially when you start getting compliments and people ask for your advice!)

Here's what you can expect from this class:
✨1 in person step by step hands on demo where we break down the whole process. You'll watch each technique and then practice on yourself with my guidance!

✨2 Live Online classes- Class 1 is makeup and brush basics and makeup bag evaluations. Yup! I'm looking thru your makeup bag and telling you what to keep and what to trash friend! Class 2 is after the in person class to answer any questions that arose after practicing and to troubleshoot individual challenges.

Hi! I'm Shannon! I have been doing makeup for 10+ years and have been in business for myself for over 6 years! I have a Masters Degree in Corporate Training and my makeup classes are where my 2 passions intersect!
I love everything about makeup and teaching. My goal is to help women feel more confident in their everyday makeup skills and makeup purchases.

When we decided to do a "planned elopement"
in Europe, my biggest fear was my makeup! I hesitated to book with a MUA in Italy because I feared that I'd hate how it turned out. Since it was just me (no wedding party), i figured it'd make the most sense to try and do it myself. So I took a leap and sought out @shannoni.mua for help, since she's done my makeup before. After the first class, i started to panic- thinking I was being a bit too ambitious . Shannon quickly built my confidence. Shes truly the best teacher. She taught me the basics and broke it down step-by-step for me, reinforcing each technique along the way. I learned so much after multiple 1:1 classes, and plenty of practice at home.
Shannon is patient, encouraging, thoughtful, and so much fun to spend so much time with! She talked me off the ledge all the way up to the night before my wedding. In addition to being able to do my makeup on my wedding day, I've finally learned a life skill . So consider this a @shannonj.mua appreciation post!!!
